Henderson, Nevada – The Revere Golf Club at Anthem has collected four coveted national and state awards in recent weeks including being named one of “The Top New Golf Courses You Can Play” in the United States by Golf Magazine in their March 2000 issue.

In Golf Magazine’s list of “The Top New Golf Courses You Can Play,” The Revere was listed as an honorable mention among 35 of the nations top new golf courses. The Revere was the only golf course in Nevada named to this exclusive list decided upon by Golf Magazine’s Architecture Editor Brian McCallen.

In addition to the Golf Magazine honor, Revere was also named to Golf Shop Operation’s honorable mention list of “Top Golf Shops in America.” Golf Shop Operations, an industry trade publication, annually publishes a list of the top golf shops in America based on merchandise sales, sales programs and merchandise displays.

The Revere also received Governor Kenny Guinn and the Nevada Commission on Tourism’s Tourism Development Award. The Tourism Development Award is presented annually to businesses that strengthen the state’s tourism by adding appeal to the out-of-town visitor while helping create additional jobs for the area.

Finally, The Revere has also been recognized as one of three “Best of Las Vegas Golf Courses” by www.bestof-lasvegas.com. Each business featured on www.bestof-lasvegas.com has been carefully reviewed by a selection committee representing a cross section of the Las Vegas community. Nominations were provided by support businesses within the golf and tourism industries. These nominations were then presented to the selection committee, then narrowed down to three golf courses to represent the golf course category. Reflection Bay Golf Club and The Royal Links were also recognized in the golf course category.

The Revere Golf Club at Anthem is located in Henderson, Nevada, minutes from the famed Las Vegas strip. The golf course opened for public play on April 17, 1999 and was designed by golf course architect Greg Nash and PGA Tour legend Billy Casper.
